Dov Yoran is the co-founder and CEO of ThreatGRID, an advanced malware analysis firm that provides actionable threat intelligence. He is also a co-founder and partner at MetroSITE Group, an advisory services firm to both emerging security companies and large enterprises. Prior to MetroSITE, he has held several leadership roles at Symantec Corp and Riptech, Inc (acquired by Symantec in 2002).
Dov is involved in a number of industry organizations including the Founding Member of the Cloud Security Alliance, Board of Directors to both the NY Metro ISSA and NY Metro CSA chapters and a frequent speaker at industry conferences. Dov has a Master in Science in Engineering Management with a concentration in Information Security Management from George Washington University and is a cum laude graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Tufts University.
Scott Saltz currently serves as Vice President of Business Operations for Bat Blue Corporation where his marketing and managerial knowledge provides the company with expert direction and supervision. He previously served as Vice President of BSY Associates Inc., a niche public relations and marketing company and Director of Sales & Marketing for The Robert Lewis Group.
Scott started his career as Director of Operations for Archive Systems, Inc. where he was responsible for the performance of multiple locations. His diverse small business background has included exposure to operations, sales, marketing and public relations. Leveraging these experiences provides him with a 360° view of Bat Blue’s business.
Elad Yoran is a recognized expert on information security market and technology trends. His nearly 20 years in the cyber security industry spans experience as an executive, consultant, investor, investment banker and a several-time successful entrepreneur. Elad’s entrepreneurial experience as founder, CEO or executive director and chairman includes Sentrigo, a leading provider of database security acquired by McAfee; MediaSentry, the leading provider of anti-piracy technology services to the motion picture, music and software industries acquired by SafeNet; and Riptech, the pioneering provider of managed security services to governments and Fortune 500 corporations around the world acquired by Symantec. Elad was recognized as “Entrepreneur of the Year” by Ernst & Young.
Elad also currently serves as CEO of Vaultive, general partner of Security Growth Partners and is a member of several technology, security and community Boards, including KoolSpan (Chairman); FBI Information Technology Advisory Council (ITAC); Department of Homeland Security Advisory Board for Command, Control and Interoperability for Advanced Data Analysis (CCICADA); Cloud Security Alliance New York Metro Chapter; and Trustee of the Jewish Chapel Fund, US Military Academy at West Point.
Elad authored the Internet Security Threat Report, which was cited in briefings to the U.S. Congress. Elad served as an officer in the U.S. Army and is a veteran of Operation Restore Hope in Somalia. He holds an MBA degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. degree with honors from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
Jason Falciola pursues his passion to help clients navigate the intersection of business priorities, technical security challenges, and the regulatory compliance landscape as a Technical Account Manager with Qualys. Prior to Qualys, Jason held a variety of roles including lead security analyst, architect, and business development manager in the Managed Security Services organization at IBM Internet Security Systems.
Jason has advised many organizations around the world, including government agencies, educational institutions, and firms in the Fortune 1000 and Forbes Global 2000. He has trained practitioners from leading global organizations on wireless security. Jason speaks regularly at international events including FIRST, IANS, InfraGard, InterOp, ISACA, ISSA, IT Roadmap, OWASP, SC World Congress, and various IBM conferences.
Jason serves as a founding board member for the NY Metro Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) chapter and a board member for NJ’s FBI InfraGard chapter. He is also a member of the US Secret Service Electronic Crimes Task Force (ECTF), the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), and the Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP). In addition, Jason serves on the SANS GIAC Advisory Board and holds GIAC certifications in Assessing Wireless Networks (GAWN) and Incident Handling (GCIH). Jason received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Management of Information Systems from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He has over 15 years of professional experience, with more than a decade focused on security and compliance.
Brian’s career has encompassed over 12 years of senior level technical,
management and consultative positions in start-ups, retail, manufacturing,
telecommunications, healthcare, banking, insurance, financial and Big Four.
Brian has architected innovative and successful incident management, risk
management, application security programs, data protection polices and cloud
security vendor assessment and frameworks.
Brian is presently a Security Consultant for a Fortune 500 insurance,
real estate, financial and banking provider. He enhanced the risk mitigation approach and
incorporated Cloud Security Alliances guidance on assessing vendor’s cloud
computing security controls. He is also building the application
security strategy for a number of organizations to align with industry and DoD standards.
Brian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems
from the University of Bridgeport. Brian is one of the founding members of
the board of directors of the Cloud Security Alliance NY Metro chapter. He is a
former board member of the OWASP NJ/NY chapter, and is an active member of
Newark’s Infragard (FBI/Corporate Information Sharing Group).
Tim currently serves as the Senior Strategist for Site Disaster Recovery at eBay.com. A retired US Marine skilled in Military Intelligence and Information Warfare and associated with EDS, Citigroup, E&Y and eBay, Timothy has progressive experience as an Information Security/Risk Officer, systems, network and security specialist/analyst, Program Manager, Director, Business Continuity Management Strategist, Instructor and Technical Advisor. He maintains extensive management, development and instructional information systems and security knowledge.
He designed and led numerous teams and programs to implement innovative technical operations platforms for the financial, healthcare, government, education, retail and private industries. Tim is well versed in risk methodology, security configurations and documentation for product development life cycles to streamline processes, implement policies, reduce costs, and enhance time to market in support of technological and business advances. Tim has first hand experience in the development of Third Party Information Security Assessment to include methodology, implementation and operations on a global scale with leading financial institutions.
Brandon currently serves as a Director of Information Security and is responsible for designing and implementing a robust information security program for the Salesforce Marketing Cloud, the world’s only unified social marketing uniting the capabilities of Buddy Media, the world’s #1 social marketing solution, with the world’s #1 social listening platform, Radian6.
Prior to joining salesforce.com (acquired Buddy Media), Brandon was an Information Risk Manager within J.P. Morgan advising on and promoting the information risk management agenda across the Investment Bank’s business and technology teams. Brandon also brings five years of consulting services experience assisting PwC’s clients in using information technology more efficiently and securely.
Brandon earned his bachelor’s degree in computer science from Binghamton University and his MBA from New York University, Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
Peter W. Laberee is the founder of LABEREE LAW PC, a corporate finance and technology boutique law firm. After more than 25 years in large firms, Peter formed LABEREE LAW PC to serve the needs of business, finance and technology enterprises. His clients include businesses in the software, hardware, supply chain, security, telecommunications, finance, and branded products industries, among others.
Peter advises on corporate acquisitions, mergers, financings and other business transactions and prepares companies for due diligence examinations, investments and legal audits. His clients include venture capital firms and individual investors in early- and mid-stage equity transactions and many portfolio companies with venture backing. He is the founding general counsel of the Cloud Security Alliance NY Metro Chapter.
